Canada Anemone

 Canada Anemone, or Windflower, has divided leaves with inch-wide single white flowers on each stem springing up in twos and threes from upper leaf joints. It is usually found in colonies. 

It is an excellent rock garden plant; however, it is aggressive.  It forms colonies quickly
