Pasque Flower

Pasque Flower, often called Wild Crocus, is oftentimes the earliest blooming plant on the prairie, often blooming when there is still snow on the ground.

Pasque Flower

The large pale-lavender flowers, with a yellow-orange center disk, appear before the foliage develops.

The Pasque Flower is a welcome sight in the early spring, usually signaling the end to winter.

Pasque Flower grows in dry to mesic prairie on limy or sandy slopes and requires full sun.

It needs good drainage and does not tolerate
water-logged soil.

It does not like heavy grass competition.

This is a perfect plant for dry rock gardens!

Height: 2 - 14 in
