 White Wild Indigo is a relatively tall plant with a massive root system
that can extend up to 10 feet from a central core. Its deep taproot enables it to survive difficult conditions. Long-lived, it becomes large clumps with many stems and bloom spikes. It is a legume.
The white blossoms, resembling small sweet peas, can be seen for up to 200 yards.

It grows well from seed, but normally will not
flower for 3-5 years. |
