Turtlehead Native to eastern US, the Turtlehead bloooms in late summer and autumn. Crowded into a dense terminal spike, the oddly-shaped, inch-long, puffy white blossoms of Turtlehead closely resemble the head of a turtle.

Turtlehead has opposite willow-like leaves with sharply toothed margins. The stem itself is somewhat squarish.

Turtlehead grows in moist to wet prairie and marshes and
requires full to partial sun

It is easily propagated from seed, root division, or stem cuttings.
