Native to eastern and central US, Rattlesnake Master is an interesting plant comprised of yucca-like leaves
with weak spines on the margins. The leaf base clasps the stem.
It has an unusual greenish white seed head, but the numerous heads are
quite attractive and give a good contrast when planted with liatris
species.
It is an aggressive seeder. |
