Northern Bedstraw  Northern Bedstraw has whorls of 4 long, narrow leaves, spreading at right angles from each point along the stem.

The small, white flowers are abundant in branching clusters of rounded heads at the top of the plant.  The branches usually occur in threes.

Spreads readily.
Height: 20 - 30 in
Color: White
Flowering Time: Jun - Jul

Little Bluestem, Big Bluestem, Heartleaf Golden Alexander, Purple Prairie Clover

Northern Bedstraw grows in moist to dry prairie, pastures and open woods and requires full to partial sun.

It is easily propagated from seed and from division in early spring.
