Dwarf Blazingstar

Dwarf Blazingstar grows in dry limestone prairie and requires full sun.

It is easily propagated from seed and will bloom the second or third year after planting.  It can also be propagated by division of the roots.

 Dwarf Blazingstar is a common sight on limestone prairies.  It also works well in rock gardens.

Its bright purple flowers are attractive in fresh or dried floral arrangements.
