Meadow Blazingstar The purple flower heads of Meadow Blazingstar are larger than those of other liatris species.
 
butterfly Butterflies are attracted to the Meadow Blazingstar as with all others of the species.

Meadow Blazingstar is attractive in fresh and dried arrangements.  It is also striking in gardens but needs competition to prevent lodging.

Meadow Blazingstar grows in wet to mesic prairie and meadows and requires full sun.
