Prairie Blazingstar
Prairie Blazingstar blossoms are beautiful in fresh arrangements and hold their color nicely in dried arrangements as well.

 
butterfly Butterflies are attracted to all liatris species.
Prairie Blazingstar grows in mesic to wet prairie and requires full sun.

It grows well from seed and will flower the second year.  It also has a tuberous root system that can be divided to create more plants
