Spiked Lobelia Spiked Lobelia is a slender-stemmed plant with numerous small pale blue flowers alternately arranged along the stem.. 

The flowers, smaller than those of other lobelias, are nevertheless very attractive especially in the spring.

The plant is very sensitive to mowing and grazing.
Height: 8 - 40 in

Flowering Time: May - Aug

Spiked Lobelia grows in wet to dry prairie and is often found on calcareous soils and requires full sun.

It is easily propagated from seed sown on top of the soil.  The seed is extremely small and light sensitive.
