White Prairie
Clover is important throughout the prairie range as livestock forage. It
is sensitive to overgrazing, however.

| White Prairie Clover grows in dry to mesic prairie and requires full sun.
It is easily propagated from scarified seed and will bloom the second year. |

Native American women used the stems of the White Prairie Clover to make crude brooms for sweeping the lodges. Native Americans also brewed a tea from the leaves and used the raw roots as food. |
