Prairie Phlox is a beautiful plant that is blooms in an array of colors, including blue, pink, white, and all variations in between. Several garden varieties of Phlox were adapted from phlox pilosa and closely related species. The name phlox in Greek means flame. It spreads rapidly by stolons and might be considered invasive if it weren't so pretty. Prairie Phlox enhances any planting environment whether it be in prairie restoration, gardens, or rock gardens. |
