Also known as
False Dragonhead, the Obedient Plant gets its common name because when
pushed or moved from its normal position, it will remain in its new fixed
position for quite some time. This slender 2-4 ft plant is beautiful, hardy, but can be invasive in a garden setting.
The
pink or lavender funnel-shaped flowers are arranged in spikelike clusters
along the plant's upper stems. The lowest flowers bloom first, with
flowering proceeding upward along the stem.
