Yellow Coneflower grows in dry to wet prairie and requires full sun. It is easily propagated from seed and often will bloom the first year; if not, definitely by the second year. |
Native to prairie and western states, Yellow Coneflower is an attractive mid-summer bloomer. It is showy,
tall, and aggressive.
Its blossoms are beautiful in fresh floral arrangements and last a long time. The seed heads are very aromatic when crushed.
